Dear All,

Please let me know what actually does behind in application and database when we ran AOT --Compile and Any particular object -- Compile ?

Please give me more shed on this.

    Do you want us to explain the meaning of course code compilation, or do understand why source code needs to be compiled and you actually wanted to ask something specific to Dynamics AX?

    You just repeat the same thing, without providing any new information, so I have no new answer either. I don't want to waste my time explaining what compilation is, if you know it. Please answer the question in my previous reply.

    AX translates some of the MorphX objects and the X++ source code into its' own binary executable format called pcode, stored in the Sources table. CIL compilation is the .Net variant of pcode.

    Compilation also does a synchronization for the Data dictionary (and Query) elements, which sorts out the SQLDictionary table and the SQL metadata within the database.

    Compilation don't do database synchronization. That's a separate process.
