hi all,

In AP > PO > open any purchase order > purchase tab > journals (action pane) > "purchase order confirmation"  .

this "purchase order confirmation" i want to change to "work order confirmation" for only a particular user .

I had just personalized the form and change the label for it. It worked for first time the name of that menu item button is changed ...but now that changes are not visible on form . is there any other procedure through we can change its name

Possibly this discussion can resolve your issue.

you may code in info class, so as user opens AX, the labels will be changed

    Hi Mayur,

The answer provided by Sohaib will change the label for this menu item in the AOT, meaning it will be changed for everyone.

I assume you used the Personalization option when you right click on a control and gets a popup menu? Can you check if the personalizations were removed? It should work I have done this multiple times and never had a problem until you reset the Personalizations.

There can be another permanent solution.

Create a copy of same menu item, change its label as per need.

Now assign this newly created menu item to the role of that specific user.

If that role is being shared/used by multiple users, you may create a copy of role and modify it, finally assign it to user
