Hi,

My requirement is to update automatically created address records associated to contacts. And after updation for some particular columns, i want those respective addresses to be visible inside Contact form in an Address subgrid..But, this is not happening.

Can anyone help me out if i am missing updating any id which associates contact and Address?

Thanks

    Yes, please look at this screenshot. By default when a address is created on create of a contact in CRM, it doesn't have these information fields.I want to update these fields in that particular same record. Updation is successfullly done. But now, when i am creating an Address subgrid in Contact form, so, why i am not getting this related Address record inside that subgrid?

    Any idea?

    Hi,

    You have to create a system view with these all columns in Address entity and set that view in your sub grid.

    To create view, please follow below link;

    technet.microsoft.com/.../dn509578.aspx

    To know all steps of subgrid, please refer below link:

    Hope it helps you. :)

    Sorry but this is still not clear. My be its just me not understanding. What do you mean by creating address, are you talliking about teh more address entity or you have your own custom entity. IN the shared screenshot/code, are you getting any error?

    Hi ,

    You need to create a contact lookup in address entity and fill the lookup value with contactid in your code .

    Hi All,

    Thanks for replying.. But, i resolved it by changing the default filter conditions which were preventing me to get those addresses in subgrid..
