Please suggest !

    Hi Praveen,

The base unit of measure can have different values from your available units of measure.

The duration is an integer type which is interpreted in milliseconds.

Depending on the value, it is expressed in days, hours, minutes, ...

    Example:

    A duration of 154548194 (milliseconds) shows the result : 1 day 18 hours 55 minutes 48 seconds 194 milliseconds.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

But in my case, when I enter 5, then it interprets it as 5 hours. Can I change this interpretation to 5 minutes when I enter 5 ?

    Hi Praveen,

I don't think you can do that.

Although a better solution would be to make the field non editable, give a drilldown which will open a page have 3 fields hr(integer), mins(int),sec(int) and on closing the page, this can be calculated to duration using some logic..

Hope this makes it easier and clear enough.

    Thanks

Choose the Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature icon, enter Items, and then choose the related link.

Open the card of the item for which you want to set up alternate units of measure.

Choose the Units of Measure action. The Item Units of Measure page opens.

If the Base Unit of Measure field on the item card is filled, then that unit of measure is already set up.

Choose the New action. A new empty line is inserted.

In the Code field, enter the name of the unit of measure. Alternatively, choose the field to select from the unit of measure codes that are in the database.

In the Qty. per Unit of Measure field, enter how many units of the base unit of measure the new unit of measure contains.

Repeat steps 5 through 7 to set up all the alternate units of measure that you want to use in different processes for this item.
