Login AX7 VM different user than Admin

Hi,

How can I Login as a different user in the AX7 VM?

Whenever I link an Office 365 account via the admin user provisioning tool and log into AX7 I am logged in as admin.

I tried to Login with other user Id's such as April@contosoax7.onmicrosoft.com and several others but if I try to Login with those accounts I always get the message that I am not authorized to Login with those accounts and the only Thing that works is my private Office 365 Login.

Any idea how I can Log into AX7 with the user April that has limited right?

Hi Lud,

I am not very sure about this but I assume when you provide your private tenant in admin provisioning tool, AX relates to that specific Azure Active Directory with your private domain. To login with different users, you can check this: msdax7.blogspot.com/.../login-to-new-microsoft-dynamics-ax-rtw.html

Just add the users to AX using system administration > users just like previous versions of AX.

Thanks all for your Feedback. Just some minutes ago I found the following Video that nicely explains the Setup required: organicax.com/.../setting-up-a-demo-user-to-access-your-new-dynamics-ax-instance

Just in case somebody runs into the same Problem.

Hi Ludwig,

If you follow my blog provided by Guy, you don't have to create new users for demo purposes and setup all kind of HRM related data. You can then use the standard demo users with current setup. Of course creating new users like explained in the video you shared is also a solution, but takes more time to setup.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to use Contoso Personas to run Dynamics 365 for operations as a limited user but it doesn't work with the password Pass1Word, I get an error message :

Did you change your password recently?

It looks like you entered your old password. Please try again with your new password.
