Fix Tablix Height SSRS report Design

ReportReport

Hello everyone !

I am working on an SSRS report and in detail section it includes a tablix.

Based on the number of rows the tablix height is being expanded.

I need to restrict the tablix height to say 12 rows height. and in my case row number function is not working due to the invalid scope as i am grouping the rows based on a column.

Is there any way to fix the height of the tablix ??

thanks in advance !

    Dear Crispin,
I think your suggestion might work. Can you please explain a bit more ?
in group properties we only get to set page break after each instance.
Is there any way to set it to 12 or 10 or something like that ?

you can see the image below

Thats a very good and logical solution. But unfortunately couldn't work for me.

I have already applied a group that accumulates the rows based on a column. Now if I apply another group on this pre-applied group and use rowNumber function then the scope for this function will be invalid if the existing grouping is child. and there is no option for existing group to be parent .

in short i have to apply page break on the grouped rows data.

You can use page break follow below link on how to do it. Change no of row or column based on your requirement.
