When I run a Test Report before posting to my General Journal I get a blank page with no data listed (see image below). I was wondering how I can fix this.
Are the filters in the request page of the report correctly applied?
Can you expand on this? Do you mean what my settings are set to before running the test report?
Norally when you run this report by clicking the button on the toolbar, an option window is opened. here you can set filters and options. Are these values ok?
The settings are default, I haven't changed them.
Show dimensions = not checked
Where: Journal Template Name is CASHRCPT
And: Journal Batch Name is GENERAL
And: Posting Date is: either blank or todays date
Have you correctly write the Gen. Journal Line? Does it have the amount (Debit Amount and Credit Amount), the G/L accounts and so on?
I've just tested and it works.
Yup, all necessary fields in the Journal Lines are populated.
I played around with Custom Report Layouts a while back. Do you think I could have modified the Test Report somehow?
Difficult to say that. Have you touched this report in particular?
The report does not show nothing if debit and credit amount (and relative G/L accounts) are not inserted.
I don't think I touched this report in the custom layout window. The test report was running just fine last week, it started acting up today.
I think the same. Have you tried with other records? Maybe selecting a batch and create a single line?
