Event Registration marketing form not showing on Event Portal

Posted on by 11
I have enabled marketing forms to submit event registrations in the Feature switches area.
I have created a Marketing Form of type 'Event Registration' and it is LIVE.
On my event I have turned on the 'Use marketing form for registration' field and I have selected the Marketing Form that I created in the previous step.
The event is LIVE.

When I go to the Event Portal and select that event, it is showing the default registration form, not the Marketing Form that I created.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.  I have followed the instructions and have done this many times before on other systems so am familiar with the process, however, for some reason, this environment does not work.

I noticed your events portal is https://XXXXX.svc.dynamics.com where as mine is https://XXXXX.powerappsportals.com/

Could that have something to do with it?

    Hi,

Regarding your question about setting up a custom Event Registration marketing form but it doesn't work

Our team has tested three browsers (Fire Fox, Microsoft Edge, Chrome) according to the official documentation, but we were unable to reproduce your error.

The link to the documentation is as follows
Use marketing forms for event registration (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Learn

Here are the results of our team's tests
    • firefox developer edition 116.0.b2

    • Google Chrome 114.0.5375.199
    • Microsoft Edge 114.0.1283.67

So, we can only make some general suggestions. For example, you can open Event Portal in private mode to see if the error still occurs, or you can clear your browser cache and try the settings again following the steps mentioned in the documentation.

If the problem persists, please provide us with relevant information, such as the browser you are using, the browser version number, and the version of Dynamics 365 Marketing you are using. We will find a more effective solution based on the information you provide

I hope my answer is helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,
    Rudy Zhang
