Hi All,
A PO is created and linked with MO. Somehow the link to this PO got lost. And now if this PO is voided will the MO get voided too?
If not what could be done to void or cancel this MO?

You cancel POs you do not void them. Using Edit Purchase Orders will allow you to do this. There are no financial transactions created by canceling. However, all the transaction activity that has occurred will remain. What you can void is the resulting payables document from the invoice receipt and you can do an inventory adjustment for the quantities.
I have voided this PO. And I could see the VOIDED status as 1 in the table POP30200.
Would this impact the distributions? How could I check them
Now can I cancel this MO in the Change MO Status window? Will MO cancellation change the outsource WIP account, AP account and accrual purchase account back to normal.

I have never tried to void a PO Return w/Credit but if you go to Transactions->Purchasing->Void Open Transaction do you see this credit there for this vendor? If you do you can void it here and it will take care of the distributions. You will still need to enter an inventory adjustment for the quantities for these items.

I just checked in Purchasing-> MOP/POP Link. And I couldn't see any POs linked to this MO now.
Or can I cancel this MO and then void the PO? Will the goods in this MO then be cancelled and return to normal?
On the whole I would like to negate all these transactions. Can this be accomplished by voiding? Or is there an other way?
I doubt it will let you void the PO since it is committed to the MO. You must break the commitment first by clicking on the chain link and clicking delete.
