Purchase Requisitions stuck in approved status - Unable to release

There are two purchase requisitions that have been stuck in approved status since 4/19/21 and there is nothing to release when I go to 'release approved purchase requisitions'. Can someone please tell me why this is happening and if there is something we can do to fix it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When i try to cancel the initial line on the purchase requisition, I get the following error message, "Purchase requisition line number 1 cannot be canceled. Verify that it is in a status of "Approved" and has no accounting errors".

Any ideas, how to fix this?

Hello,

This is for 2012 R3, the thread you posted. I am looking in D365. Please let me know if the functionality works the same way in D365 as well.

Hi Anesidd,

I had the same error in D365F&O before and solved it by the above way, you can also try it.
