Sales invoice must be authorized before posting

When trying to post a sales invoice in Dynamics BC, I am getting a posting error preventing me from being able to post. The error reads "Sales invoice must be authorized before posting". I have checked and no workflows are enabled, and there is no setup in the approval user setup either. Any ideas what the error is pointing to and how to resolve?

Hello, The error Sales invoice must be authorized before posting likely comes from a customization or extension enforcing approval.

Since no workflows or approval setups are active, check the Extensions Management page and use Page Inspection (Ctrl+Alt+F1) to find any approval-related fields.

Also, debug in AL to identify custom logic blocking the posting. If unsure, try posting a new invoice to see if the issue persists.

    Hope this answer your question!

     Hi,

Please check if you have customization if no workflow is enabled. Also check the User Setup (91) Table

    Thanks

Hi, The error caused by the Invoice Posting Policy setting is not yours.
This looks like a customization issue. It is recommended that you contact your partner to resolve it.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I DO Agree with the Experts that there must be some Customization in User Setup.

Kindly Coordinate with your Developer Team for the same.

As mentioned by other users that's not a standard system error, you must have some sort of customization that displays the error.
