2017 Payroll Tax Update for GP 2015

I have installed the YE update and processed payroll year-end closing.  Ran the Year-End Wage Report and verified the amounts and installed the current payroll tax tables dated 12/16/16 but I get an error stating that the Checks cannot be calculated while the year-end closing is in process.  Can someone help me with what I need to do?

    Once you have closed a particular year, you cannot process additional payrolls for that year. Assuming that you have another 2016 payroll to process, you need to first remove the year-end wage file (Tools > Utilities > Payroll > Remove Year-End Information). Otherwise, if you are trying to process your first payroll for 2017, you need to set your User Date to the target payroll check date before you Build & Calculate your payroll. This also ensures correct YTD maximums are applied for deductions, benefits and leave accruals.
