Posted on by 340

Hello Experts !!

Greetings !!

We have business requirement like, if any dynamics CRM user , logs in -logs out in CRM, n number of times in a day.

We should capture timestamps of this activity and make a report so that business can have track of their agents.

Please advise , how can i achieve this?

If possible please provide code guidance also.

Thank in advance !

Regards, Alok

    Hi Alok,

The one problem you are going to run into is that CRM doesn't and really can't capture logout information.  It can notice different points where the login occurred but things like a web browser don't send any information to the server when a session terminates. The audit logs will have the user information on them on who did different logins though you will likely need to drill into individual records, or do some sort of API based export of the login-audit records to be able to easily view that information.

    Hi Priyesh,

Thank you so much for your response !!

Here by following up with this Article , still not able to identify which users has logged in or logged out.

Also suppose if i logged-in into CRM 5 times and logged out then i should be able to capture the timestamp like

    Date 4 feb 2019 Online : 10:00:01  Date 4 feb 2019 offline: 10:30:01-- Online Duration: 30 mins

    Date 4 feb 2019 Online : 10:50:01  Date 4 feb 2019 offline: 11:57:01-- Online Duration: 1 hrs 7 mins

    Date 4 feb 2019 Online : 12:20:01  Date 4 feb 2019 offline: 13:10:01-- Online Duration: 50 mins

    Date 4 feb 2019 Online : 13:47:01  Date 4 feb 2019 offline: 15:50:01-- Online Duration: 2 hrs 3 mins

    Date 4 feb 2019 Online : 16:25:01  Date 4 feb 2019 offline: 19:30:01-- Online Duration: 3hrs 5 mins

Please advise if you have any idea about the same !!

    Regards, Alok
