Some elements of my extension are missing in OnPremise Environment

Hi Everyone

I have a problem with a extension. Recently a extension I develop for BC OnCloud Version 17.0 and this work without issues. Some days ago I installed the extension in OnPremise (Version 17.0) environment. With purposes of test I have 2 instances of the BC, a Instance without license for development, and another for production purposes. In both instances the extension was deployed and that worked without issues, but few days ago the customer received the licence file for apply to the prodution environment.

After that the extension hide the pages related with my extension, both environment have the same permission sets, the same extensions and the same setup. The only difference on both instances is the applied license.

I never develop for OnPremise environments but this not have logic, the only difference are the license. The only idea that I have is that my code are'nt signed, but if this has the problem that must be exist in both instances.

In case that the problem are the sign, how I can sign my app file?

I try to sign with SignTool but apparently the tool only recognize exe files.

Finally I put both images of my production and development OnPremise environments. (The marked with red is the production instance and missing elements, the marked with purple is the development instance and the elements that must be appear).

    Hello,

    You may want to ask the Operations Center reachable via partner center if there is an issue with the customer license / missing permissions, etc.

    Hi Marco

    I asked my boss to ask for support, since his email account is the one in the partner center.

    You have a point this must be a license problem, because the problem appear when I apply the license file (in flf format).

    When I'll receive response by support team I'll update the this post for talk about resolution and  this will be util for other users.

    Well I promise that when I implement the solution I talk about that:

    The problem is in effect the license, on the On Premise environments, the license file have a limmited Object ID range and Objects available that are writed on license file:

    I have 10 table data available and the Object ID Range is 50001 to 50010. The way to fix this error is:

    - Modify your code according with object ID range on license file.

    - Ask the partner to modify the license file according to the needs of your code.

    Maybe this problem is for "newbies" that never worked with business central On Premises environments, but I not found the solution on the forums. I really hope that this can be util for other developers.
