Hi,

We have a very odd issue with a few released products. Some were imported, some release without number sequence on. Both scenario's have the same issue.

We can see the products in Products and Product Masters, and are released to our company. However when selecting the product for view or edit within released products. The product loads the next item not the one selected. When you apply a filter by said product only, a blank record loads with item code "no record". Looking though the AOT tables they all seem to be populated correctly.

Any Ideas why this would happen?

The EcoResProductDetailsExtended form has an inner join to the following tables:

InventTableModule - ModuleType = Purchase order

InventTableModule - ModuleType = Inventory

InventTableModule - ModuleType = Sales order

InventItemLocation (Warehouse items)

EcoResProduct

I believe this means that a record for your Released product must exist in each table. Compare records in each of these tables for an item that works, versus an item that doesn't.

Hi Baber, yes we do have some customised fields and table. We are trying to keep as close to the original as possible due to updates and cost. However we do have working products released. So I think its safe to say the customisations are ok. Alex

Hi Guy,

I've had a look though all the data source tables attached to 'EcoResProductDetailsExtended form'; And all the joins to ItemId and Product RecId are as expected. What's interesting is checking against working products within the same company, even across companies, there is no difference. In other companies the affected products do work, oddly.

It's not really the joins on the form that I think need checking. Do the three tables I mention have record(s) related to the missing items? Are you checking in SQL or in AX table browser?

Hi Guy,

I'm checking each table within the AOT not using SQL. Yes they all have records, in the main released invent tables. In InventTableModule there are the 3 records relating to there Puch, Sale, and invent records with the correct ItemIds, The same is true for InventTable and EcoResProduct

Hi Alex,

Check the column in which your applying the filter has the same data (from table) your value in filter.

Ex. the filter column selected is "Product name" but the value entered will be item number. Might be silly, but happens many time

Hi Alex,

Instead of spending more time on it, I would suggest you to export the form 'EcoResProductDetailsExtended' in the form of XPO, delete all the customizations and then give it a try. If issue is still there, you would be sure that there is something wrong with the customizations or otherwise you can bring the customization in and investigate something else.

Hi Alex,

If you have customizations where a new table is added on this form using an inner join, possibly during the releasing of the product or the import job, this table is not populated. Then due the t0 inner join of the new table you will not see these records on the released products form.

If you add tables on this form, or you don't have to use the inner join, or you should ensure that all processes can deal with the new table.

If you follow the suggestion provided by Baber, or if you change the join type of the new table, you will notice if this is the case.
