Recurring Customer Journey in D365 CRM Marketing

Hello folks, 

I am new to the D365 Marketing module and have a few quick questions. Can you please help me with it?

I have created a recurring (12 count, 30 days) customer journey and used a dynamics segment and a marketing email. 

Dynamics Segment: Pull all those contacts with License Expiry Date (custom field) on or After = Tomorrow & Expiry Date on or Before = 30 days from now.

What I know is that the dynamics segment updates periodically which add and removes contact based on conditions set and send email to those newly added to the segment. We want to send the emails on a specific day not randomly. Right now engine sends an email randomly to those present in the list. Does it send emails the moment contact becomes part of the segment? 

On what criteria does the marketing engine remove the contact from the segment?  I know it adds based on the above criteria.

    Hi Naeem,

    1.On what criteria does the marketing engine remove the contact from the segment?

    The marketing engine remove the contact from the segment also based on these criteria.

    If the contact does not meet the criteria for segment, then the contact record will be removed.

    2.We want to send the emails on a specific day not randomly.
