Hello folks,

Is there a way to customize the Page Section? I'm trying to group together "Find First" and "Find Last" actions. I have been looking under properties (PromoteCategory) with not success.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Hi Alex,

There is an example in page 16 - Chart of Accounts, system groups Dimension Single and Multiple actions.

I'm not trying to group in a drop down mode. What I would like to do is place two more actions under "page section"

Hi Alex,

You can add them via Customize Ribbon (Page -> Main Menu -> Customize -> Customize Ribbon ...)

I believe page section is system section, but you can group them using PromoteCategory but choosing other category 4..8 same for both.

I'm sorry if I do not explain my self. Here is another example of what I trying to do.

I would like to add 2 more links/actions under page section (where Refresh, Clear Filter and Find are located.). How can I accomplish that?

Hi Alex,

In Customize Ribbon, select Availables actions on left panel, click Add >> button (in the middle) to add them to right panel, then click OK.

When you choose customize ribbon from the left hand side, choose the actions you want to move and highlight the Page on the right and click Add.

As shown in the image i added units of measure to that section

Hi Suresh,

You are right, the page section is a system section and I've been having hard time to add more actions on same page section.

I already did what you suggested but I was wondering if is a way to add more actions in same page section.
