Hi There,

I use xrmtoolbox early bond generator, when I connect instance, there is an error: Unable to Load Settings!

Detail: The settings file is either empty or malformed. Whould you like to reset the file to the default setting?

When I click Yes, I can open the generator, but in the Setting Path, the last file name is DLaB EarlyBoundGenerator_DEV.xml. Compare with others,it must be  DLaB EarlyBoundGenerator.DefaultSettings.xml.

Could you help to analyse the reason of the error. Thanks.

    Hi.

The default settings have been changed in your case.

For example, I changed an option from the default settings and click the save button.

Set the name of the xml file for the settings as ‘DLaB EarlyBoundGenerator_DEV.xml’ in the pop-up window.

Then the path of settings would be like the following picture.

Empty the contents of this xml file and reopen the tool. The prompt which you get will be shown.

Click the Yes, it will load the latest default settings instead of the original default settings.

So you need to re-select the ‘DLaB EarlyBoundGenerator.DefaultSettings.xml’ from the path.

In addition, if the ‘DLaB EarlyBoundGenerator.DefaultSettings.xml’ is lost, deleting the xml files related to the tool firstly and reinstalling the tool from the Tool Library is recommended. The xml file of the default settings will be reset after reinstalling.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Nya
