Blank recipient and blank regarding when email PDF using Export to PDF button

Hi,

I have enabled the Convert to PDF functionality for a custom entity, and configured word templates appropriately. When I use the Email PDF option, the new Enhanced Email pops up as expected, but the To field and the Regarding field is blank. Looking at the browser Developer Tools (F12), I get this message

I can see the problem is that the custom entity has no Customer field, and the email form cannot populate the To field, but it should populate the regarding field without any error in javascript. So I think it's a bug for Microsoft.

Is anyone having the same issue?

Kind regards,

Khoa

    Thank you for your query.

Did you enable the Sending Email flag for the custom entity?

Go to Advanced Settings -> Customization -> Customize this System, expand Entities -> <Your entity> and under Communication and Collaboration section, check "Sending Email" option, Save and Publish the entity.

Refresh, the form and try again.

Here is an extract from official docs:

Thanks Wahaj, checking Sending Email option makes the Regarding field popuplated. I can use javascript to get the recipient contact from Regarding record and ignore the error in F12.
