Required Single Invoice Account with Multiple Vendors

Dear Team,

I have a query . Please find below the situation and suggest me the way forward.

My clients have number of vendors who provide multiple category of products E.g. Vendor A supplies Boys Apparel, the same vendor also supply Girls Apparel. In this case client create 2 vendors (Vendor-A_Boys Apparel & Vendor-A_Girls Apparel).The requirement is as follows:

1- Client requires to view the individual balance of both vendor (Vendor-A_Boys Apparel, Vendor-A_Girls Apparel)

2- Another requirement is to view the total balance of Vendor-A

Please advice and thanks in advance.

    Hello Ammarali,

    Can't this be handled with financial dimensions?

    If you have a single vendor A and associate a financial dimension for (a) boys apparel and (b) girls apparel can't you get the split up you are looking for?

    Basically client does not want to create financial dimension as there are already 5-6  FD's configured with his account structure.

    Hello Ammarali,

    If it is just about viewing the different balances you can alternatively use the Management Reporter to add the different balances.

    Note: Depending on your AX and MR version things might work a bit differently with the MR vendor / customer integration and you might have to consult a developer / technical MR expert.
