Hi All

I hope you are doing well.

I am learning the Microsoft AX 2012 and trying to create dashboard in Microsoft AX 2012 but couldn't.

After searching on google and youtube still can't figure it out.

Now I am IN in the community and need your help that How can I create a dashboard in Microsoft AX 2012 with different types of data. (Lets start with procurement and sourcing to see the status of PR and PO's).

Appreciate if any you will send me any video or documents links.

Hi Zafar,

What do you mean exactly with dashboard? Do you refer to the home page and the information you can display there or do you refer to something else?

Would be great if you could clarify this and let us know more details of what you want to include and display in your dashboard.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes you are right, I need the homepage where the information will display.

I can customize it to get the details of PR, PO status, amount, pending by whom, etc.

Hi Zafar,

Can you check the following:

- have you initialized the role centers in the organ. admin module?

- Is your user assigned to a specific role center?

- Have you implemented the default cubes that are needed to calculate the KPIs, etc?

How I can do this.

I am assigned, but how do I check and confirmed my role.

- Have you implemented the default cubes that are needed to calculate the KPIs, etc?

No. I can use all the module but once I click on Role center its shows, An error has occurred. Contact your administrator for further assistance. I have check with the admin but every things is fine from his side.

Might be some tutorial will be beneficial if you can advice, (I have googled and youtube but nothing found related to my issue or I miss out).

You can find the information on the setup and the usage of the role centers on TechNet (=> see: technet.microsoft.com/.../gg751374.aspx)

You can also find some videos on the Setup and usage of role centers on YouTube. I have not checked all of the Videos here (www.youtube.com/results) Just take a look what suits you best.

Hi Ludwig

I already have checked few of the videos but couldn't success. I will try to look more in details as you and Kavita replied and it might take some time for me to get it resolved. Again thanks for the feedback.

Apart from dashboard can I use the same chat for other questions or have to create new new question.
