Dear all.

I would like to import a new model and replace the existing related models.

In Command PROMT I used:

cd "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\ManagementUtilities"
axutil import /file:"c:\MyModel.axmodel" /server MySQLInstance /database MAPEI_AX63_MYDATABASE_model /replace:MyOLD_Model /conflict:push

My Error.
ERROR: The MySQLInstance command or command line switch is unknown or incorrect.

I get some errore about Database Instance ; I think is wrong position.

Please, could you help me.

Thanks

Addressing the errors is difficult unless you tell us what they say.

Nevertheless I do see a problem in this case: you don't have colons between "server" and "database" parameters and their values.

You're right, my error is this:

ERROR: The MySQLInstance command or command line switch is unknown or incorrect.

I guess you still haven't fixed the bug with missing colons. It should be /server:MySQLInstance instead of /server MySQLInstance.

    Thanks for your effort goshoom

    I used this:

    axutil import /file:"myModel.axmodel" /server:MySQLInstance /database:MAPEI_AX63_MYDATABASE_model /replace:MyOLDModel /conflict:push

    I got this error:

The AXUtil command was started in the mode: import.

ERROR: An incorrect number of command switches have been specified to AXUtil.

Review the list of supported modes by using the command line axutil.exe /? command.

    Where I wrong?

Please follow what the message suggested.

It's been quite a few years since I used AX 2012 and I don't remember all the commands and their combinations. Maybe you shouldn't use /replace and /conflict together, but it's just a guess.

    Thanks for your goshoom .

I follow your details, missmatch parameters, I changed line command:

By Dynamics AX 2012 Management Shell, this work

    install-axmodel -noprompt -file "C:\MyModel.axmodel" -server:MySQLInstance -database:MAPEI_AX63_MyDB_model -replace "MyOLD_Model" -conflict:push
