hello
I have created docker container for business central multiple times
but today I have this problem :
I create docker container without error - I put in a admin user and the password
The container shows up on docker desktop
but when I try to access BC I get this error :
"The specified user name or password is not correct, or you do not have a valid user account in dynamics 365 Business Central"
I tried many times and am sure to do no error with username or password
Please help me if you can !

Hi Alex, even if the container was created without error, Business Central won’t let you log in unless the user is properly set up inside BC with the correct permissions. Try recreating the container with a fresh credential and check inside BC to confirm the user exists and has access. Slope Game

    Hi there,

Thanks for sharing your issue! This kind of error usually points to one of the following causes:

    1. Credential Mismatch: Even if the username and password seem correct, ensure that the credentials match exactly what was set during container creation. Pay attention to case sensitivity and special characters.

    2. User Not Provisioned in BC: Sometimes, the admin user is created in the container but not properly provisioned in Business Central. You can check this by accessing the container via PowerShell and running:

    Get-BcContainerEventLog -containerName

Also, verify the user exists in BC using:

    Get-BcContainerNavUsers -containerName

    1. Missing Permissions: Make sure the user has the necessary permissions assigned in BC. You can do this by logging into the container and checking the user setup in the BC client.

    2. Container Initialization Delay: Occasionally, the container may take a few minutes to fully initialize. Try waiting a bit and then retry the login.

    3. Browser Cache or URL Issue: Clear your browser cache or try accessing BC from a different browser or incognito mode. Also, double-check the URL format (e.g., http://localhost:port/BC).

Let me know if this helps!
If it solves your issue, please mark this answer as accepted so others can benefit too. 😊

    Best regards,
    Daniele
