Management Reporter - Unable to connect to the *** Company

A user in a terminal server environment is not able to set credentials in Management Reporter to a company. 
 
Other users on the terminal server are able to set credentials. 
 
The user is able to log into GP using those credentials. 
 
She is entering the username using the same case as what the GP user is. 
 
They are using the legacy provider. 
 
I can't think of anything else to try.

    Is the user able to successfully log into the specific company in GP with their credentials?  (I'm wondering if the user doesn't have access to the company.)

    Is there anything unusual about the user's credentials that may be different than the users who are able to access the company?  (I'm thinking something like an extremely long password or unusual characters.)

    Knowing the GP and MR versions may also help as there have been changes to password lengths over the years.
