In a timeline, when you click the + to create an email, is there a way to not have a the Primary Contact from that parent record to show up by default in the To field of the email and also when creating an Appointment?  Or can I change the default to something else?

I have the same question (0)

If I understand you correctly, you want to be able to compose an email and/or appointment and have the "to" field come up blank whatever parent record is in the background behind the compose window.  Is that correct?

Short answer is no.  Unless you write your own plugin to bypass the system behaviour and it appears you would have to include your own custom js web resources in said plugin.

You're welcome. Investigating it was a good exercise as I haven't had a reason to really look into those new enhanced popup forms since they came out.
