MBS Professional Services Team

Back in 2011 one of my client's utilized the MBS professional services team to develop a Dexterity customization. At the time they were running GP2010. I have a few emails related to it and know the work was performed under SETA #37947.  We are trying to move them to Gp2015 and I can't seem to find anyone at Microsoft that might know where that source code is so that my client can move forward. Anyone know the right person/team to contact for this?

    Bob,

Unfortunately, there is no more MBS Professional Services Team. :-(

It sounds like are you a GP partner, so you can start by contacting the NA Partner Assist team at napa@microsoft.com to ask them about getting the customization upgraded.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Bob,

Those types of requests should go thru the partners... they are the only ones that have the ability to open customization request with Microsoft.. This is not something a customer can deal with directly with Microsoft. I had the same situation a few years ago where our partner tried to write some custom code for use and ended up involving Microsoft to finalize the code. The module that was created needed to the update for the following major release of GP when we upgraded to 2010R2 (from 10.0) and I had to get back to my old partner to have them ask Microsoft to update the code for 2010..

Sorry, but that's all I can say for now. Sounds strange that a customer could deal directly with Microsoft for GP custom code...

PS: I found from Victoria Yudin's book about GP2010 Implementation that the MBS Professional Services Team can be reached out via e-mail at : ProfessionalServices@microsoft.com  or phone at : (888) 875-9071.
