Perfect, Makes Sense. Thank you!!
Hi,
You no linger need to register plugin on stage id fields. With the new changes, you can trigger workflows on stage change directly on the bpf entity.
Refer this: blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../automate-business-process-flow-stages-using-workflows
Hope this helps.
Hi ,
In Dynamics 365 V 9.0 you can find using Advanced Find . Go to Advanced Find , select the entity with your BPF name , add columns which you need and execute.
I have an Followup Question.
Scenario: multiple BPFs active on Opp Entity.
Plugin: OnChange of StageId(Opp Entity) :
Plugin is Trigerred--> In Plugin, As I do not get the processId in Opp, I go to Workflow(Entity)
--> Through Workflow(Entity) I get all BPF for Opp Entity
--> Get Active Processes (BPF) on Opp, Filter BPF with OppId
--> But how do I know which Process stage is changed. As it can be that 2 Active BPF for a particular Record.
That is correct. Also since multiple BPFs can be active at the same time you'll have to think of a way to determine which is the "right one" (not a problem if you only have one BPF).
Yes. So does that mean I have to fetch the information from Active BPF for Opp and not throught process ID (as Empty) on Opp.
Hi
Are you referring to the Process Id and Stage Id fields on the Opportunity entity? If so, they are empty because they aren't used anymore. Microsoft deprecated these fields last year with the introduction of parallell BPF entities.
You can no longer rely on the information in those fields.
