Upgrade from BC ver.24 to ver.26

Environment: Windows Server 2019 Standard Edition, SQL Server 2022 - version 16.0.1135.2

Does someone met this error on upgrade BC from version 24 to version 26?:

Could not upgrade the extension 'Base Application by Microsoft 26.0.30643.32973' due to the following error: 'Text optimized index cannot be created/queried because the SQL Server Full-Text Search component is not installed. Please install the SQL Server Full-Text Search component and try again.'.

In update process everything went fine and all applications were published but when trying to install them received this error. All other apps cannot be installed either(Except of System App). I think other Apps requires to install Base App before installing them.

SQL Server Full-Text Search component is installed and active for my database.

Hi Dear,

You can't upgrade directly to version 26 from version 24 or earlier because version 26 deletes many objects. Upgrade to version 25 first.

Hi,

You are following wrong upgrade path, you first need to upgrade to BC version 25 and then BC 25 to BC 26
