Exporting Unmanaged Solution: Business Process Error - Invalid business process.

Hello,

I am exporting my unmanaged solution from a CRM Online Sandbox and receiving the following error. "Business Process Error - Invalid business process."  There are no technical details and no log available.  The solution contains custom entities, workflow, BPF, plugins, workflow, etc.  so I am having a difficult time pinpointing the issue.  Any help is appreciated!   TIA.

I tried the recommended solution of activating/deactivating any draft processes that needed to be kept but still got the error. I tried the following and it worked ... hope it helps you too.

    Under Components > Process

For each Process with Category of "Business Process Flow"

Select the Process and click "Add Required Components".

Yes, it should be activated before you can export the solution

We removed the draft one and exported it. It worked.

And more interestingly we added the draft one back to that solution and exported the solution, it worked this time.

To give more detail it was a copy of bpf created by copying the existing OOB bpf.

Remove all BPF and export it

I am experiencing the same issue. I have removed the business process flow that was in draft and I have one remaining (activated) but I still get the error. I deactivated it and reactivated it and I still get the same error.

We've had this issue and I believe the primary cause is that we use the "Save As" button in an existing BPF to create a backup prior to making changes.  When that's done in the solution, the backup BPF is created in a draft state and the corresponding BPF entity is not created.  So removing that component from the solution works to get the export functional, or activating the BPF and then deactivating if you want to keep it in the solution.

    Hello Jeff

Based on your business process I would say yes, a CRM does sound like a good option in running your business more efficient. A CRM allows you to keep a record of your customers' details and any interaction so it makes everything well organized.

You may also want to look at the option of getting a CTI solution like Tenfold which integrates your existing phone and CRM. They support MS Dynamics integration. Checkout these integrations at www.tenfold.com/.../dynamics
