Hi,
I'm trying to better use our RMS system (2.0), which until now hasn't been used for customer accounts, but will be.
I know that customers have credit limits, but I wanted to be able to put customers on hold under a number of circumstances, such as being over limit, being overdue, or me just feeling like it.
In addition, I wanted normal cashiers not to be able to over ride it, but for a manager to.
I think I am asking too much from the system, but at the same time think that it should be something that is there. Thus, it also makes me wonder if there is an RMS 2.1 or 3.0 on its way!
Any help would be appreciated.
Steve

Change their credit limits to .01, put Security on the field and only allow Managers and above to change it.
There will be a RMS 3.0 or its currently called Next Gen RMS or RMS Next Gen scheduled for release in 2013. We were told about it a couple of weeks ago without too many details. It will be in the new Statement of Direction that I expect to see tonite (they release important RMS on Friday nights for whatever reason)
Have you messed with the "enforce purchase limits" option? I don't know how it works, but it sounds promising.
