SiteMapName attribute in XrmToolBox

Posted on by 175

I created 2 new Apps in Dynamics 365 called Residential Tenancy Inspections and CEED Grants.  When I open my list of sites in XrmToolBox SiteMap Editor one of these is showing up correctly (i.e. with a sensible name) and the other is called "Default".  Both Apps were created using the same methodology.  I tried to export the solution with the default name, modify it's cusomtizations.xml by adding the attribute <SiteMapName>CEED Grants</SiteMapName> in the correct location, saving and re-importing the solution.  The site map is still called Default in XrmToolBox SiteMap Editor.

Why?  How can I rename this site map properly?

SiteMap.xml is not available within the solution (when exported to .zip as unmanaged), nor is it available to download directly from Dynamics 365.  I'm using Dynamics 365 v9.

    Hi ,

could you try to  download sitemap.xml from XRMToolBox and update it again using XRMToolBox.
