Facing issue as different transaction value in transaction and reporting currency field

Hello Mates,

I am facing an issue in AX 2012 R2 where in posted project transaction system is showing different values in transaction and reporting currency fields, which is confusing as the company is following only single currency.

PFB the screenshot for your ready reference as this is only one example case i am showing otherwise there are plenty of cases! your prompt help will be much appreciated.

    Hi Dinesh Sharma,

    To me this looks as if a foreign currency expense invoice has been entered for your project.

    What is the Accounting currency that you use in your system and in which currency has the invoice been entered?

    Please check this by having a look at the voucher and the originating Journal in which the invoice has been entered.

    I am really glad and appreciate your prompt reply!

    As far as your queries on Accounting currency setup, invoicing currency and the origin of the vouchers are concern, i have already looked into those as all are having same currency as "AUD" only.

    One of the example i have shared belongs to "AUD" origin as it's coming from a PO and project transaction, vendor transactions all are in single currency only as we don't have any other currency setup in system.

    Your expert advise and help will be much appreciated.

    The strange part is it's not regular sometime system work absolutely fine without any complaint

    Can you attach a screenprint of your ledger form that you can find in the GL setup section?

    Can you also share a screenprint of the voucher that has been posted?

    Hi,

    I compared this with a standard system and noticed that the cost in reporting currency field is actually not available in this form by Default. Also the labels are different, which makes me suspect that a system modification is responsible for what you see.

    Can you please check with your system admins / developers what has been modified here and might need some further correction?

    Thanks for the response Dr. Renhard!

    You may be right but if it is so then why the issue not accruing regular bases, sometime issue comes but some time not, it's not frequent though.

    I have also notice one thing the issues appearing only the transactions related to PO but issue doesn't accrues frequently, other than PO transaction it's working fine.

    Any clue please?

    Hi Dinesh Sharma,

    I can't tell you why this happens only for some of your transactions. The only thing that I can tell you is that this is not a standard functionality and has been designed differently by MS. You thus have to clarify this issue with the person who made the system modification. There is - in my opinion - no other way to get this fixed.

    Hi Dr. Ludwig,

    I get it checked by the developer and he is claiming that no modification has been done it's all Std. in our current system.

    Is there any other possibilities as we got stuck and not able to find the resolution?

    Yours looks different and I do not think that you have done this yourself through personalizations.
