Production Planner created pick list and pass pick list to warehouse for material pick, it take couple of days for warehouse to get pick completed(physical pick).

Meanwhile finance month end process closed month when the journal was created , when warehouse user tries to post journal it gives error for Inventory period Close.

Pick list creation date 7/31 posting date 8/4.

how can i make system to pick posting date as TODAY instead of pick list Creation date. manually changing all pick list line to new posting date is not working as some pick list has few hundred lines.

Hi Andre,

As number of items on the pick is in hundreds it takes time for warehouse to physically pick and return parts .Therefore this issue arises on every month end.

understood from your explanation that there is no such setup to make posting date as current date. i am left with.

1. Delete and recreate pick again .

The lead time between the creation and the exact pick, is this due to planning in advance? What is the exact reason for these days?

You can use the Excel add-in or Data Import Export Framework to perform mass updates. Or consider a customization to automate the change of the posting date.
