How to restrict the Opportunity Closed as Won and Closed as Lost buttons

How can I go about restricting users to not be able to click on Closed as Won button within an Opportunity.  Everyone can click on Close as Lost, so the restriction is just around Closed as Won.  I want only a certain group to be able to have access to click Closed as Won.

Would like to do this as a flow if possible.  Not sure though.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Most of the times these types of requirement controlled by the use of security role, you can create a specific security role and keep user whom you want to allow in that specific security role. Once done you can hide this button based on the security role, please check following post for the step by step

You can use this approach where you need to set custom entity and you can hide it based on that

Or you can use this approach where you need to write js code

How about customizing a close and setting a security group for that entity?

    Hi,

I don't think you will be able to achieve your requirement using Flow.

As suggested in above post, you would need to write Js or use entity privilege rule to control the visiblity of the button.
