Pick lines on Shipment exist but no Pick document exists?

Good Morning,

While doing a Transfer Order from a warehouse(see settings of warehouse below) , my client created a ship document and from the ship document created a pick document. He then went ahead and registered the pick. During this process, their internet briefly disconnect.

I can see that the pick lines did not register though.

When looiking at the warehouse shipment document, I can see that pick lines exist.

But no registered pick lines exist

When looking for that warehouse pick, it does not exist.

When trying to create a new warehouse pick, it says that there is nothing to create.

So the pick lines exist but the warehouse pick document does not? :( Is this a bug?

When trying to delete the shipment to try and force a recreate, it says that you cannot because warehouse activity lines exist that must first be handled or deleted.

Not possible to complete the pick without the document? How do we undo the pick or delete the lines. Or how do we get to that pick to complete is the question.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

    Greetings,

Thank you posting on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Forum.

It would seem that there is broken data at this point due to the Power Outage. We did have a similar case submitted to our Europe Support Team for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.  Has this issue been esclated directly to Microsoft?

    Please confirm.

    Thank you!

    Best Regards

    Tom

Check that you are part of the Warehouse Employee for that location. The warehouse pick is filtered by whether you have access to that location or not.

    Hi Thomas,

Thank you for your reply. :) We escalated this to Microsoft

They are in the process of investigating, but it would seem that the pick lines are orphaned without a pick document header. Unsure of how this happened.

It also seems that we would need to ask our developer to create an extension, a codeunit to delete the lines in the table.

Thank you for your reply Teddy. I know we as consultants and the user are all warehouse employees, but just for in case checked again. We are all employees of that warehouse.

    Hello,

Thank you for confirming.  I am glad that the issue has been escalated due to the Forum not being an effective tool to manage such a complex issue. Have a great week and hoping for successful correction of the data here.

    Best Regards,

    Tom
