Export Positive Pay file in CSV format

Hi Everyone,

I have a client who would like to have Positive Pay data into CSV file instead of TXT file.
As of now, the system is generating .txt file upon the export of Positive Pay data from Bank Account, I would like system to export it into CSV format instead of .txt, is there any out of the box provision available to make this happen ?

Alternate Workaround I found :-
At the time of exporting Positive Pay data from Bank Account, add ".csv" along with your file name when you've been asked by the system where you want to save the file, this will create a CSV file in the required format, however, this is a manual task for the user.

I am looking for an alternative where system itself creates a CSV file upon the export of Positive Pay.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi, good day
I hope this can help you, and give you some hints.

You can export Positive Pay as a comma-delimited file - Sharing The Righter Way - Cynthiapriebe.com

    Best Regards

You can change the data exchange definition that is used to generate a csv file rather than a text file.

Hi, hope the following helps as well.

And, you can also consider customizing or using Power Automate.
Dynamics 365 Business Central: How to export data from tables to CSV (comma-separated values) file
How to export data from Business Central to a csv file with Power Automate (No customization) – JSON to csv

    Thanks

Thank you everyone for your response.
I am looking for an out of the box option which exports Positive Pay in CSV format as I have completed all the necessary setup of generating it.

@Valentin Castravet, where exactly I can setup .csv format in Data Exchange Definition which will give me .csv file upon extraction ?

    Thank You for the reply.
I have gone through the complete guide you've mention, however, my Bank (First Bank) needs a Positive Pay file in .CSV format and not in a .TXT file.
I have confirmed the same with my client as well, so I am looking for a provision where BC itself could export .csv file in the same manner it is exporting .txt file by default.
