How to archive MS GP 10 transaction

Hi everyone,

Geetings..

we are facing some concern and our database was already contaning 1 1/2 decade of data. we are looking for any MS Tools that would help us to archive those years, and give us new space on our system.

I was hoping to hear nay suggestion..

I agree with SOMA, that's the only third party option I'm aware of. Note that it allows people to work in the current company and still drill back to an archive company for search and inquiry.

The only other reasonable option is to use a backup of production as an archive company and then clear data for years you don't want in production. Keep in mind that it's hard to then add to the archive and you could end up with multiple archives over time. Also, users would have to search in another place for historical information.

We have using this tool to archive our large company transactions data. In my findings, no other tools are not available. Let you know if I find any information regarding the same.

There is a 3rd party product available for Archive Company Data in Dynamics GP from Professional Advantage. Please have a look on the below link.
