Insert PDF files into Opportunity Form

Hello, 

I am in the opportunity, can I add/insert PDF file into the particular opportunity ?

    Hi Johnseito,

    1. Please double check if there is already Timeline on the Opportunity form.

    There can be only one Timeline on a form, if there is one, you can not allowed to add it.

    2. Please check if the opportunity entity has ‘Notes (includes attachments)’ and ‘Activities’ enabled.

    Hi,

    By default, Opportunity entity already has Timeline on the form. So you should check if the timeline is not in a collapsed Tab or something like that...

    Hi Johnseito,

    If there is no Timeline, you need add it to the form.

    Go to the opportunity form editor, under INSERT tab, click the Timeline button.

    Then a grid of Note Text will appear in the body of the form.

    This is the Timeline.

    Hi Johnseito,

    In the opportunity form, there should be a Timeline component. We can click on the plus sign of Timeline to add a note.

    You can then add attachments to this note so you can upload pdf to this opportunity.

    In addition, if you have enabled SharePoint integration for D365, then you can upload the pdf to the folder corresponding to this opportunity in SharePoint.

    Under the Files tab, click Upload.

    Thanks for the message and response. I am looking at and in the opportunity but I don’t see where notes is. Can you show screen shots or show detail where it is and how to insert PDF into there ? Thx

    Hi,

    Yes you can, in the Notes. You can attach a document into a note.
