Dynamics NAV 2015 Licence Problem

Hi everyone

First time posting here :)

I encountered a weird problem with our new user Licence for Dynamics NAV 2015. After uploading the Licence, I get the following error:

- I restarted the services after the Upload
- "Save Licence to Database" is active

The only difference to our old Licence file is the number of Limited User ("Limited User SAL"), which we increased from 5 to 1000. The Licence also doesn't work with the Cronus database.

Anyone have any ideas?

    Try to check with your partner make sure when they generated they generated it for NAV 2015 version.

    Thanks, but It is the correct Version (2015), I already checked

    Compare the text version of this license with old license file.

    May be ask you partner to download the license again and upload again in your database

    Restart the service and check

    Are you able to open development environment ?

    Check in license information via development first, if the license file is correct.

    Secondly have you ever saved your license in your database.

    Sometimes this kind of error happens when your partner generates the new license on the Microsoft portal (regardless the fact that it would look like a normal 2015 one). You need just to ask your partner to re-generate the license for 2015 version one more time, upload it and restart the service.

    Hi Alexander

    We generated a new Licence from our Partner Source and it worked. Seems like a Bug in the process when generating a Licence. If anyone know what exactly the problem is, I would really like to know.

    Anyway, thanks for the the help :)
