Using statistical accounts for allocating expenses monthly

I'm looking for a way to allocate expenses per headcount per month, where the headcount changes monthly in each department. I've set up an allocation journal, ledger allocation rules, etc.  and can set the percentages for various departments to allocate expenses to, using fixed percentages. But the issue is I can't figure out how to handle the percentages changing monthly.

    I think for allocations , the best way to use is cost. accounting module. I would advise you to check that functionality.
    But if you want to go with the easier way, you may use allocations and change then every month manually.

    As Billur stated, you have to post new statistical journals each month to update your headcounts for each department.
