I have a client that treats territories the exact opposite of how CRM treats them. Instead of many salespeople in one territory, a salesperson has many territories, and they will rebalance that count as needed.
I've been considering the various ways I could go about this, from reworking the existing Territory entity and hiding what they don't use, to just making one custom.
For those who have laid out territories this way before, which method did you end up preferring?

Wayne, I'm sorry you didn't receive an answer to this yet. I'm in the same boat as you - One person having multiple territories. This is a problem as we know that you can't assign more than one user to a territory.
I was even exploring peoples comments on here about creating Business Units for more flexibility . I even heard that "Territory" isn't the best way to go and is antiquated/limited including for security reasons.
One thing I've learned with Dynamics is that there is more than way to skin a cat, and if you don't put some thought into it, it will bite you in the arse later.
Can you share how you resolved your issue? Much appreciated!
