Dynamics CE Scalability and Performance Online

Does anybody know if Microsoft, or any other entity has performed transaction scalability metrics for the Dynamics 365 CE online setup such as total open services tickets, number of active accounts, as an examples. Also, any ISV's that have developed operational XRM solutions and the transaction posting volumes they may be getting such as how many Contacts could comfortably access a portal linked to D365 CE. Would be helpful if Microsoft had white paper around this.

    Hi HBH,

It’s depending on your storage space, under normal conditions, you can see in the capacity of power platform admin center memory usage: New Microsoft Dataverse storage capacity - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn

Not only that, but Dynamics CE can integrate many applications (SharePoint, outlook, even teams): https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/admin/extend?view=op-9-1

For performance, it’s recommended that you not run operations that require intensive database transactions concurrently: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/admin/performance-tuning-and-optimization?view=op-9-1
