Can Self Service User Approve Purchase Requisition - GP2018

Hi,

We have a customer with a set of users who only need to be able to approve Purchase Requisitions assigned to them in a workflow.  The Licensing Guide is clear that a Self Service user can create a requisition. Does Self Service user also includes approving a requisition or a Full User license is required.  These users will not need any of the other functionality, just requisition approval.  Can you share what license is required?

    Hi Suet

    Self Service user licenses cannot approve Purchase requisitions.  A self service license can create purchase requisitions, enter their project time and expenses and perform some employee related activities for example.

    With that being said, you are using workflow so if you enable email approvals for your workflow, you can have any person approve/reject requisitions whether they are a GP user or not.  No GP license is required for workflow email approvals.
