How to add Notes from FactBox to a report in Business Central

Is there a way to add Notes from a FactBox to a report in Business Central through a report extension?

I am trying to add the Notes from a Released Production Order to the Prod. Order - Mat. Requisition report.

If it is possible to add Notes to a report, can someone please provide some guidance on how to do so?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello,

Yes, but not directly from the FactBox. Notes are stored in the Record Link table, not on the Released Production Order itself, so to print them on Prod. Order – Mat. Requisition you must use a report extension that reads Record Link entries where Record ID = Production Order RecordId and Type = Note, converts the Note BLOB to text, and exposes that text as a dataset column for the report layout. This can’t be done via Personalize and requires a small AL addition, but it’s standard BC behavior.

    Regards,
