We are having an issue with a lookup field that has a blank (missing) "Target Record Type". We cannot delete it because it says it has dependencies. Here is what we see in our CRM:
We need to delete it so we can delete the Entity it is on. We are having solution import/export issue because of it.

Can you also add a picture of the relationship configuration of this lookup field?
Have you tried to delete all records of that entity you want to delete first and then try to delete this field?
