Unable to connect to D365 online using Alithya toolkit

Hi,

We use a toolkit provided by Alithya (previously Edgewater) to connect to our D365 (CRM) online instance. This toolkit processes queries from NAV2017 on-prem and uploads the data to D365. The toolkit connection uses an Office 365 user account to make the connection and recently started failing. We are receiving the below errors in the log file. The O365 account making the connection is able to log directly into the D365 portal without any issues.

Has anyone encountered these issues recently?

I've noticed discussions around Microsoft deprecating some services regarding connections between NAV & CRM but not sure if this is related.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    Hello,

As far as I understood Microsoft started to turn off discovery services - powerapps.microsoft.com/.../

That is why you started to get errors.

    Hello all,

Correct. The Regional discovery services were deprecated in North America on 6/15.

Important changes (deprecations) coming in Power Apps, Power Automate and customer engagement apps - Power Platform | Microsoft Docs

If you do need an extension for fix code to use Global Discovery services, please open up a Microsoft Support case and we can extend the RDS to 6/30.

    Thanks,

    Tyson

you should also contact the company and see if they make an update to the toolkit you are using
