Populate old fields on an entity with information from another entity

Hi,

I would like to take information from a field on the Account side, and copy it to the same field on the Contact side. I have already mapped the fields. We have 15000 contacts. How do I best copy from the account side to the new field on the contacts?

Most of our contacts are related to an account. But the mapping only takes care of newly created contacts, that are created from the account.

Hi,

You can create an on demand workflow to copy the value of the account record to the contact record. Then, you can execute the workflow in bulk targeting your 15000 contacts using the Bulk Workflow Execution tool available on XrmToolBox.
