I've been researching this for days now without, a resolution, I have no choice but post this question here.

I have Micro GP 2013 running on own server. that I host and manage,  I also have Microsoft office 360.

How do I install the capability to email directly through GP?

    I'm not sure if it's directly supported or not at the moment.  Here is how I would try and get it to work.

    1. Setup a mail profile on the server in question from the Mail option in the control panel.  Use the following link to learn how to get your server settings for you hosted Exchange via Office 365.  http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/support/set-up-your-office-365-or-other-exchange-based-email-in-outlook-2010-or-outlook-2013-HA102823161.aspx

    2. Once the mail profile is setup login to GP and configure the email settings per their documentation.  http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=34659

    Now I'm not sure if you will need to setup Dynamics to use MAPI instead of Exchange or not as I haven't thought about trying to configure my test GP 2013 environment to work with my test Office 365 account.  I hope this helps with the process and sorry I couldn't provide more detail on the subject.

    Office 365 is supported with GP 2013. Really it depends on what you are using like Jonathan Cox said either MAPI or Exchange.
