Hi,
I am having an issue at the moment where a ribbon button is not showing if the user has a different security role than "system administrator". This rule has not been implemented in neither Ribbon workbench or the javascript code. Do any of you recognise this problem, any tips is appreciated!
Hi partner,
Please check the following points.
1.Check if there is any other display rules in this ribbon in ribbon workbench and check them one by one.
2.Check the enable rules.
3.Check if other security role has the permission for the entity which contains this ribbon.
Could you share the ribbon details in ribbonworkbench to us?
Regards,
Leo
Hi Flyth,
This seems to be a custom command.
You can copy this button first, and then for the copied button, try to remove the commands that may cause the button to be hidden . After finding the command, remove the command from the original button. Finally, delete the copied button.
The button that i want to show is for creating reports, and i can see that there is a "Hide action" thatis called reports.hide, could this be the issue?
I have an enable rule for this button which shows the button depending on values in a picklist. The is then connected to a javascript but that script doesn't show/hide based on a security role. I can't see that there is a command for MiscellaneousPrivilegeRule or EntityPrivilegeRule
Hi Flyth,
In the ribbon workbench, please check the display rules and enable rules of this button.
Is there a command for MiscellaneousPrivilgeRule or EntityPrivilegeRule?
