Embedded Canvas Apps Limitation

Hi,

When I add a canvas app to the form, I get the message

"You have more than three canvas apps with Web form factor, the maximum is three for this form factor. The number of canvas apps are limited to three for Web and one for Tablet and Phone form factors".

Is there any way to find the other canvas apps that are embedded?

The problem popped up when I first removed the canvas app field from the form, saved & published it, and then tried to re-add the app to the same form.

I think somehow the canvas app ID is stored somewhere, and I look for a way to clear the old canvas app link.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi GadeyneM,

I tested in my environment, when I have three canvas app fields on the form, if I remove one of them form the form, then I can enable canvas app for a new field.

Could you clear the browser cache and try re-add the app to the same form again?

Unfortunately that did not solve the problem. I have a call with the support team later this afternoon and will keep you posted.

Hi Margot,

Kindly select only Web Control for the Canvas App as shown in below image, this will allow you to embed more than 1 canvas app in model-driven form but upto 3 canvas app only.

I saw your error message carefully & i think its self explanatory that you can not add more then 3 canvas app on single form.

at this moment its a limitation on platform
